Share: print! Where are you?
Hey Forbes! Get with the times. I do a lot of market research and I want to create PDFs from online articles but your site doesn't include a print icon in its "share" list. Ugh. There's a simple rule of thumb to follow...make info easy for your end user to find. I don't want to have to chase down your info because a former link is broken. Let me capture your info via a print button now i.e. "save as PDF". I want my info when I need it.
Think! Think about your end users! Just because the flock, (and by flock here I mean the unexamining public), thinks that "print is dead" because they've heard "print is dead" over and over and over again, doesn't mean that print is actually dead. Print is still a valid form of information! It's just a matter of how you use it! The general public can be clueless, your business shouldn't be! Stop chasing the flock. Murmuration is for the birds!
